Upon completing the SQE Law Essentials conversion course, you’ll be able to take The University of Law’s LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2), SQE1, and SQE2 courses, preparing you to complete the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), the new centralised way to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales.

The SQE Law Essentials programme is tailored to learners of non-law backgrounds. Thus, there are no academic entry requirements to enrol in this programme. However, it’s important to remember that to be eligible to take the SQE, you’ll need to hold a valid undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
While there are no academic requirements to join this bootcamp, you’ll need to hold an English language qualification if English is not your first language.
