Over five courses (approximately 36 weeks), you’ll prepare and present over 95 dishes, and gain numerous role-specific and culinary skills.
You’ll start by exploring the fundamentals of the hospitality and catering industry. This includes key areas such as food safety, workplace hygiene, and understanding different types of hospitality establishments, roles, and safety regulations.

This online microcredential consists of a theory-based final examination and a 30 day practical in a commercial kitchen as a Commis Chef or Line Chef. If you’re new to the industry, you’ll need to complete a three-month industry placement.
Upon completion, you’ll be awarded the International Culinary Studio Global Diploma in Culinary Arts and the Worldchefs and City & Guilds (UK) Certified Commis Chef Global Digital Certification, demonstrating your skills and ability to advance in the industry.
