Congratulations! You have now completed the final week of Tackling Antibiotic Resistance: What Should Dentists Do?

In week 1 we introduced antimicrobial resistance and the vital role dentistry plays in tackling AMR. We then moved on to week 2 which discussed antibiotic use in dentistry in more depth – including how antibiotics are prescribed, the benefits and risks of their use, and what dental teams can do to help. Finally, in week 3 we focused on antimicrobial stewardship – you made an AMS pledge and learned about the importance of collaboration between dental teams in order to tackle AMR.
