What is blended learning?

Blended learning is a style of education in which students learn via online material as well as face-to-face teaching.

How we suggest you use this blended learning material?

These materials are designed to enhance the learner’s experience of the online content through face to face facilitated sessions covering some of the key topics and more complex concepts.

For the delivery of each session, you will require a facilitator. We do not expect the facilitator to teach the delegates, but to guide the delegates in learning for themselves the topics covered in the course. We recommend facilitators have a solid understanding of the information covered in the course and an enthusiasm for education. Facilitators can use the blended learning content to lead small group sessions with limited prior preparation using these comprehensive session plans.

The sessions should be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour long and are comprised of facilitated discussions and interactive exercises mapped to the learning outcomes of online content.
