Enhance your practice by understanding the diverse needs of students
Who are your students and what do they need? This short course will help you to explore these questions from both student and teacher perspectives, starting with an exploration of student diversity and the related implications for practice, then by examining your own teaching philosophy. You will be encouraged to think about students’ barriers to learning and identify innovative strategies to address them in your own contexts. Knowing your students, and how you approach teaching, are important steps to developing active learning experiences that elevate student engagement and attainment.

HE practitioners with diverse backgrounds, roles, responsibilities, experience and subject expertise who will be encouraged to discover and make connections between theories, their own practice and their students’ learning.
