During this course you will have the chance to explore what it means for leaders to be the architects and curators of culture, as well as analyse evidence from the history of culture in the armed forces.
You will also have the opportunity to apply the lessons you have learned in response to summative case studies.

- Understand what it means for leaders to be the architects and curators of culture
- Analyse the evidence from history and the armed forces of the power of the prevailing culture and its influence on leaders
- Investigate the process of cultural filtration and its impact on maintaining the prevailing culture
- Apply the process of cultural filtration to the business of school leadership
- Investigate the importance of school leaders as generators of culture
- Apply the lessons on culture in a final formative case study
- Apply all of the lessons learned in Module 1 and Module 2 in two summative case studies, one on strategy and one on culture
